In a continuous improvement culture everyone will spend time on process improvement daily. The time spent will vary per employee from 10 minutes the entire day. Ownership of process improvement is the key to success for organisations.<\/p>\n

The Lean Leader is the initiator of Lean implementation projects. In addition to extensive knowledge of the Lean improvement tools, the Lean Leader is also a skilled change manager. By investing time in colleagues, the Lean Leader coaches employees continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

The course is made up of a theoretical part and a practical part. The 5 days of theory consists of 3 days Lean Practitioner and 2 additional days focussing on the Lean Management philosophy. The course meets all international standards as set in ISO18404.<\/p>\n

Extensive attention will be paid to the 14 management principles of Toyota. These principles serve as a general guideline for managers who wish to successfully implement Lean. One of the principles requires Lean Leaders to build a learning and continuously improving organisation. In order to do this, specific management skills are necessary. Lean Leaders coach people on how to improve, rather then telling people what to do. <\/p>\n

During the course, Lean tools and principles such as Kaizen, the 5 principles of Womack, Toyota Kata, the 7 types of waste and A3 project management will be addressed.<\/p>\n
